What Makes the Body Solid G9S Two-Stack Gym Stand Out

Body Solid G9S Two Stack Gym – two users on the press arm and pec station

Two 210 lb Weight Stacks

Each stack runs its own stations, so one person can press while another flies or rows. Pull the pin, set the weight and go.

Body Solid G9S Two Stack Gym – leg press station

Built-In 420 lb Leg Press

The leg press has its own stack and a 2:1 ratio, turning 210 lb into 420 lb at the footplate. Add the stack upgrade for 520 lb.

Body Solid G9S Two Stack Gym – multiple users training at once

Room for Multiple Users

Two people train at once on the stacks. Add the GKR9 knee raise and dip station and a third person can work at the same time.

Body Solid G9B vs. G9S

They're the same machine. G9S is the model name most people know; G9B is Body-Solid's current part number for the black-frame version that ships today. Same stations, same stacks, same warranty.

You'll see both names on spec sheets, manuals and other dealer sites. Whichever you search for, this is the one.

Body Solid G9S Home Gym

One frame replaces the chest press, pec deck, lat pulldown, cable row, leg extension, leg curl and leg press you'd find on a gym floor.

Because each stack runs its own stations, a training partner never has to wait for you to finish a set. Here's what each station does.

Body Solid G9S Two Stack Gym – multi-grip press arm

Multi-Grip Press Arm

  • Bench, incline and shoulder press
  • Mid-row handles for chest-supported rows
Body Solid G9S Two Stack Gym – pec fly station

Perfect Pec Station

  • Pec fly and rear delt
  • Adjustable range of motion, swivel arms for one or both sides
Body Solid G9S Two Stack Gym – lat pulldown high pulley

Lat Pulldown and High Pulley

  • Lat pulldowns
  • Triceps pressdowns
Body Solid G9S Two Stack Gym – ab crunch with strap

Ab Crunch and Mid Pulley

  • Cable ab crunches
  • Wood chops
Body Solid G9S Two Stack Gym – low pulley curl

Low Pulley

  • Seated and upright rows
  • Curls and bent-over rows
Body Solid G9S Two Stack Gym – leg extension

Leg Developer

  • Leg extension and leg curl
  • CAM keeps resistance even through the full range

Body Solid G9 Leg Press

Most home gyms bolt a leg press onto a shared stack. The G9 gives it its own. A 2:1 ratio turns the 210 lb stack into 420 lb at the footplate, and the stack upgrade takes it to 520 lb.

The pivoting, non-slip footplate and side handles cover leg presses, calf raises and donkey kicks. Pillow block bearings on the press keep the movement smooth from the first rep to the last.

Built for Life: Frame, Cables and Pulleys

The frame is 11-gauge (3 mm) steel with a powder-coat finish. Cables are 2,200 lb tension-strength steel aircraft cable with a nylon sheath, running on 4½" fiberglass-reinforced nylon pulleys with ball bearings.

Every pivot uses self-lubricating bronze bushings, the press and leg developer ride on Body-Solid's SmoothGlide bearing system, and the gas-assisted seat post adjusts in seconds. DuraFirm pads with lumbar support finish it off.

Body Solid G9S Add-Ons

GKR9 Vertical Knee Raise and Dip: a third station for knee raises and dips, so three people can train at once.

GIOT9 Inner and Outer Thigh: adds hip abduction and adduction to the lower-body lineup.

GAP9 Aluminum Pulley Kit: swaps the nylon pulleys for aluminum.

SP50 50 lb Stack Upgrade: takes each stack from 210 to 260 lb.

All four can be added above.
